Günümüzde kanser tedavisinde büyük öneme sahip olan radyoterapi, teknolojik gelişmelerle birlikte hızla ilerlemekte ve bu alanda yetişmiş nitelikli sağlık teknikerlerine olan ihtiyaç artmaktadır. Programımız, bu ihtiyaca cevap verecek donanımlı, etik değerlere bağlı, hasta haklarına saygılı ve mesleki sorumluluk sahibi bireyler yetiştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Bu programı başarı ile tamamlayan öğrencilerimiz ‘‘Radyoterapi Teknikeri’’ unvanı verilir.
Radyoterapi Teknikeri unvanı ile mezun olan öğrencilerimiz Sağlık Bakanlığına bağlı kurum ve kuruluşlarda, devlet hastaneleri, üniversite hastaneleri ve özel hastanelerin radyoterapiye ilişkin bölümlerinde ve radyoterapi merkezlerinde çalışabilme imkanına sahiptir.
“Radyoterapi Teknikleri” ön lisans programını başarı ile bitirenler, ÖSYM tarafından yapılan Dikey Geçiş Sınavı’nda (DGS) başarılı oldukları takdirde Hemşirelik, Hemşirelik ve Sağlık Hizmetleri lisans programlarına dikey geçiş yapabilirler.
Radiotherapy, which has great importance in cancer treatment today, is rapidly advancing with technological developments and the need for qualified health technicians trained in this field is increasing. Our program aims to train individuals who are equipped to meet this need, committed to ethical values, respectful of patient rights and have professional responsibility.
Students who successfully complete this program are given the title of ‘Radiotherapy Technician’.
Students who graduate with the title of Radiotherapy Technician have the opportunity to work in institutions and organizations affiliated with the Ministry of Health, state hospitals, university hospitals and radiotherapy departments of private hospitals and radiotherapy centers.
Those who successfully complete the “Radiotherapy Techniques” associate degree program can vertically transfer to Nursing, Nursing and Health Services undergraduate programs if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM.
